Procurement Manager

As a Procurement Manager, you’ll be working closely with our highly skilled team of network and system engineers, as well as all teams across Da Vinci. Your role will be to take ownership of our procurement process, ensuring the best market prices for top of the line equipment covering our company’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities across the company, with a primary focus on IT-related purchases (i.e., desktop set ups, servers and switches, network services)
• Conduct market research to create a comprehensive overview of alternatives, define company needs, and determine fair prices
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure the best terms and reliable supply chains
• Stay informed about new products, vendors, and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Maintain an updated overview of current contracts and subscriptions, ensuring the company remains cost-efficient and contracts are utilized effectively

Requirements

• A solid understanding of IT and related products and services
• 3-5 years of relevant experience (experience in IT sales is highly desirable)
• Hands-on, proactive approach, with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed
• Proven negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favourable terms
• Strong organisation skills, managing multiple timelines, ensuring on-time delivery and thriving on spotting improvement opportunities
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical people and build strong vendor relationships
• Detail oriented ensuring accuracy in procurement processes and contract management
