As a Help Desk Administrator, you’ll be the first line of support for our IT infrastructure, ensuring that our employees have reliable access to the tools and technology they need. This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity to develop your IT skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Working closely with the rest of our IT team, you’ll troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate issues as necessary, contributing to the smooth operation of our trading and internal systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to help desk tickets, emails, and walk-in requests for IT support, solving a variety of hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Assist in setting up, moving and configuring workstations and laptops, ensuring all necessary applications and permissions are in place
  • Assist in the onboarding of new employees, including account creation, hardware setup, and software installation
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, network connectivity, VoIP, and other internal systems; escalate complex issues to sys admins or network engineers when necessary
  • Keep accurate records of work done, document common issues, and contribute to knowledge base updates for quick reference
  • Perform routine checks on company equipment and assist in managing IT inventory, ordering new equipment as necessary
  • Help enforce security protocols and educate users on best practices to protect data and system integrity

Requirements:

  • Background in IT related studies
  • Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, hardware troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, VPNs, Wi-Fi)
  • Service-mind and eager to solve issues quickly
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
  • A problem-solving mindset, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to manage multiple requests at once, prioritise and effectively organise tasks
  • Eager to learn and work on a variety of problems that may occur
