As a Windows System Administrator, you will be working closely with a fun team of highly skilled traders and software engineers on projects to improve our live trading environment. You’ll work on optimising our trading infrastructure with the flexibility to be creative in your solution designs.

Responsibilities:
- Engineer and maintain a scalable global Microsoft Directory infrastructure that leverages technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory Domain services
- Engineer a design that incorporates security best practices, business continuity, high availability, and scalability
- Support internal teams on hardware and software issues
- Automate, standardise and document IT processes to optimise work structures
- Perform periodic audits of the environment, enforcing security and industry standards
- Perform remote troubleshooting to diagnose production issues
- Manage the life cycle of a server and build and deploy new solutions
- Performance monitoring and system capacity management
- Ensure that the trading infrastructure is in a consistent and predictable state at the beginning of each trading day
- Configure and install IT hardware workstations e.g., typical desk set-up, installing screens, mouses, keyboards and Windows OS
Requirements:
- Experience working in Windows (Experience with Linux administration is a plus)
- Degree in computer science, engineering, ICT or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple projects that span multiple teams to successful completion
- Windows desktop and server configuration management skills
- Demonstrated experience with Azure AD, Microsoft 365 and integrated on premise AD
- Strong knowledge of open-source tools, and automation
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
- Knowledge of Python and/or Shell scripting
